About the CEO
Debra Braddock, LMSW, LCSW (she, her)
Debra is a compassionate Licensed Social Worker and Mental Health Therapist in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Rhode Island. She has over 7 years of experience helping children, adolescents, young adults, families, and couples. She has worked with at-risk/adjudicated youth in the early part of her career which she enjoyed dearly. In the latter part of her career, she worked with young adults which she loves being able to help them navigate adulthood.
She has worked with IDD, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC populations. She specialize in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma Therapy with experience in Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Compassion Focus Therapy (CFT). She uses a strength-based approach, where she finds your strong areas, things that you are good at and build from there.
Debra chose Social Work/Counseling because she knows what it is like to struggle mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, and financially and wanted to help those with the same struggles overcome them together. You are not alone. She knows that 'life be lyfing'. Ms. Debra don't just meet you where you are, she doesn't leave you there.
